CEC 2009 provided a stimulating forum for scientists, engineers, educators, and students from all over the world to disseminate their latest research findings and exchange information on emerging areas of research in the fields. It proved to be a great success and we all look forward to meeting up again in Barcelona next year for IEEE WCCI 2010 and in New Orleans for IEEE CEC 2011.
